Injuries and their risk factors in adolescents

This study investigates occurrence and severity of injuries and risk factors predicting injury. The participants of the Adolescent Health and Lifestyle Survey have been followed up until early middle age through the national registries of hospital discharges and cause of death. Injuries related to sports in sports clubs, school, and free time were asked in the 2009 Adolescent Health and Lifestyle Survey for 12-18-year-olds.
