Costs and other practical issues

The education is free of charge for students from inside the EU/ETA area. Students from outside the EU/ETA area are required to pay an annual fee of 10 000 euros for the programme. Fee paying students can apply for scholarships. Other costs include housing, study books, travel costs, costs for reseidence permit and insurance. All degree students also pay a mandatory Student Union membership fee which entitles students to many benefits such as substantial discounts on meals and travel, as well as access to student health care services.

 All student must have a valid insurance covering the duration of the stay in Finland and a residence permit covering the Schengen area.
