Other Activities

In 2004 several members prepared the statements as experts in their own organisations about the new national law on laboratory animals. In 2005, some members of Fincopa board were also invited as experts in the meetings of the committees of Parliament during the reading of the new law, which was accepted in the Parliament in January 2006. 

Fincopa board members have been nominated to the working group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to prepare the report on “The coordination of alternative methods for animal experiments in Finland” (2006).
