Research

Teaching and research are inextricably linked. Thus the content of the subjects taught within Politics at the University of Tampere is well represented also in the research activities, including most of the doctoral dissertations in International Relations and Political Science.

The National Research School in Political Studies (POLITU) is coordinated by the School. In addition, the unit is involved in the activities of the Tampere Graduate Centre for Social Sciences (TAMCESS) at the University of Tampere.
