Students who want to include the training period in his or her diploma must provide a written report of the training. The report must include the following items:

•Short description of the organization where the practical training period was done

•Description of the content of the training period; what kind of tasks and responsibilities were included to the training period

•Student’s own assessment of how the training period supported his or her studies

•Student’s own assessment how the training period possibly guides future studies and decisions related to his or her work career

•General assessment of the role of the training period

Students are also encouraged to bring forth additional issues, both negative and positive, about the training period. The length of the report is 3–5 pages. A certificate of the training period must be attached to the report.

The training period report is submitted to Professor Hannu Saarijärvi (hannu.saarijarvi@uta.fi).
