The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on European Politics and European-Russian Relations is a network organisation within the School of Management at the University of Tampere. The Centre seeks to create a new public-private partnership linking academic, other public and private actors with an interest in European politics and European-Russian relations. The Centre promotes teaching, training and research activities in these fields and integrates these activities with wider European and Russian studies expertise within and outside the University. Being open to academic and wider communities in the Tampere region, and closely connected to partners in Europe, Northwest Russia and beyond, the Centre coordinates higher education programmes, organises events and supports research projects.
