Jean Monnet Centre coordinates and facilitates higher education on European integration at the University of Tampere. The centre coordinates the European Studies minor programme, supports the coordination of the European and Russian Studies/Finnish-Russian Cross-Border University (ERS-CBU) master’s degree programme and organises annually the multidisciplinary Jean Monnet course on European Integration and Enlargement. The Centre also organises individual teaching and training events, as well as doctoral training courses. The Jean Monnet Professor is in charge of the doctoral seminar in the field of European integration and European studies.
