Personal study plan

One of the first steps in your studies is to compile a personal study plan (known as “HOPS”, henkilökohtainen opintosuunnitelma) with your academic supervisor.

The study plan supports you in planning how to proceed in you studies, how to make choices to do with studies and studying, and how to develop and grow into and as an academic professional. It is also the first chance to discuss and develop the idea of the thesis with the supervisor.

Master's degree structure forms

To create your personal study plan, fill in the excel sheet and discuss your course choices with the supervisor/programme coordinator. When you have any questions related to your studies, please update the personal plan with courses that are already taken and sent it by e-mail to the programme coordinator or teachers so they can see an overview of your studies.
