In the use and sharing of Library's resources the principles of copyright need to be observed. More information about copyright can be found on Ministry of Culture and Education's web page.
Some of the resources have been acquired via the FinElib National Electronic Library Acquisition Consortia, some by the library independently. The terms and conditions are determined in the terms of agreement for each resource. All customers are obliged to follow these terms and conditions.
You are allowed to:
Browse databases and conduct information searches
Print a reasonable amount of search results for your personal use
Save a reasonable amount of search results for your personal use
Save a reasonable fraction or a part of electronic book or other electronic resource or electronic full text articles for non-commercial use
To share copy of an article or individual sections of an e-book with a third party for purposes of scientific research and communication, not to be re-shared or for commercial purposes
To create course material for Tampere University courses for non-commercial use (the conditions may vary according to the database service used)
You are NOT allowed to:
use electronic resource or any part of it for commercial use
print or copy entire texts of e-books or other large full text resources
download resources by robots or other automatic processes
With the Kopiosto Digital Licence, the staff and students of educational institutions can scan printed publications and copy text and images from open websites. The licence applies to both domestic and foreign materials. These materials can be used in education, research, diploma theses and practical works.
