Information Retrieval Courses in Humanika

Courses on user education and information retrieval from Tamcat and the Internet are arranged and tailored to the needs of various seminar groups. The minimum length is two hours. 

The seminar leader books the course and, at the same time, its contents and duration are agreed upon.

Individual guidance 

To receive guidance in database use, you can Book a librarian.

Departmental staff

Departmental staff members may request presentations about current library services, databases and electronic journals.  In addition, individual presentations and tours to new staff members can be arranged.  There is no charge for these arrangements.

Outside groups

Upon request, user education courses are arranged also to outside groups. There is a charge for these courses.

Tours in Humanika are arranged all year around.

Tours to incoming students are arranged during the fall semesters.  The person in charge for the new students’ orientation is responsible for booking the time.  There is no charge for these tours.
