
If there are any problems with logging in, ensure your basic user account and password are still valid. The remote access is only intended for the university staff, researches and regular students. Basic user accounts are issued by the Tampere University IT Services.
If the connection to a database or electronic resource fails to work, please inform the library either via e-mail kirmtuki@uta.fi or using the web-form.
Please notice that downloading an e-book or an electronic article may take a while depending on the connection and devices used.
There is a short service break in the night, during which you cannot access any databases.
If you fail to log in to Nelli or if the access to the databases is denied, check your browser and firewall settings .
The browser must allow:
-SSL 2.0 or SSL 3.0
-Certificates
-Cookies
-Pop-Up Windows
-Switching the connection to another server
-Some IP -gateways may have to be opened in the firewall.
