You are welcome to visit the Information Services. Additionaly, information specialists gladly visit different schools and departments of the University to introduce databases and to give guidance in information retrieval. Search guides are also available.
The Information Services is located on the third floor, service hours are from 12 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Specialists can be contacted if questions arise about information searching in general.
The Main Library's Information Services is mainly oriented toward social sciences, information sciences, economics, business and administration, and those areas of humanities, that Humanika (Dept. of Humanities and Education) does not cover. Multiple Finnish and foreign databases are available. Information specialists provide help with information searching, and give classes on infomation retrieval skills.
EU-information service and The UN collection are part of the Information services in the Main Library.
If a more extensive, fee-based information search is required, a request can be made by filling out this online form.
