Jos iOffline-ohjelman lataus epäonnistuu, on vanha ensin poistettava ja sitten yritettävä uudelleen ohjeiden mukaan.

Ohjelman poisto:

To reinstall IOffline, please follow the complete removal instructions as explained below, before attempting a new installation.

If you have installation or authentication problems with iOffline, you need to completely uninstall any previous iOffline installation first,  following below instructions carefully, before you can perform a clean re-install.

Windows xp:

Step 1: To remove iOffline, open the Control Panel --> Select "Add or Remove Programs" --> Remove iOffline from the list.

Step 2: Go to My Computer --> Tools --> Folder Options --> View. Make sure the radio button “Show hidden files and folders” is selected.

Step 3: Go to C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data and delete the folder "ioffline.81FA133F75F33E2D63625F7A6A37BDA4DE3C1E7E.1"

(Note: If you get an error message saying the program is in use, do the following first: Ctrl-Alt-Del --> Task Manager --> Processes Tab --> Sort by Image Name. Find "ioffline.exe" in the list and click “End Process.”)

Step 4: Go to C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS. Delete the folder "ioffline.81FA133F75F33E2D63625F7A6A37BDA4DE3C1E7E.1"

(See Step 3 for additional instruction re: a potential error message.)

Step 5: Return to the site, click "Download iOffline," and follow the installation instructions.

Windows Vista:

Step 1:   Go to My Documents -> my ioffline books (Delete this)

Step 2:  My Computer -> Disk C -> User -> (username) -> AppData -> Roaming -> ioffline (with a unique number) ----(Delete this)

Step 3: My Computer -> Disk C -> User -> (username) -> AppData -> Roaming ->Adobe -> AIR -> ELS ->ioffline(with a unique number) ----(Delete this)

Step 4: Control Panel -> Programs -> Program and Features -> Select ioffline and click on uninstall.

Step 5: Return to site, click "Download iOffline," and follow the installation instructions.

Windows 7:

Step1: Click on the Start button. ( Windows flag bottom left) -> Control Panel . -> Programs link. -> "Programs and Features" link. -> "iOffline" from the list. -> click on "Uninstall" button.

Step 2: Click on the Start button. (Windows flag bottom left) .-> Control Panel ->  Appearance and Personalization link -> Show hidden files and folders option ->  Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files, folders, and drives -> Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types, and from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) -> Apply button and then OK button.

Step 3: Go to C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\ and delete the folder "ioffline.81FA133F75F33E2D63625F7A6A37BDA4DE3C1E7E.1"

Step 4: Go to C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS. Delete the folder "ioffline.81FA133F75F33E2D63625F7A6A37BDA4DE3C1E7E.1

Step 5: Return to site, click "Download iOffline," and follow the installation instructions.

({user} in the path refers to the User name.)
AIR application should be version 1.5 and above.


Apple/Macintosh
(tested on OS X 10.6.6)

Step 1: Finder -> {your username} -> Library -> Preferences -> ioffline folder (with unique numbers) : move to trash/delete

Step 2: Finder -> {your username} -> Library -> Application Support -> Adobe -> AIR -> ELS -> ioffline folder (with unique numbers): move to trash/delete

Step 3: Finder -> Applications  -> iOffline.app (trash/delete the .app file)

Step 4: Finder -> Documents -> "My Offline Books" folder (if present)-> delete/trash this folder.

Step 5: Restart your MAC

Step 6: Return to site, click "Download iOffline," and follow the installation instructions. Note: your iOffline App by default resides in, and can be started from, the personal applications folder accessible through Finder-> Applications.

NOTE: AIR application should be version 1.5 and above.
