Graduate School for Doctoral Studies in History

The Graduate School is the national educational organisation for Doctoral Studies in History. The Graduation School was founded on January 1st 1999, and it arranges further education for Doctoral students from each university in Finland.

The History Department at the University of Tampere is responsible for the Graduate School programs. Professor Pertti Haapala is the Head of the School, and Tapio Salminen works as the Coordinator. The web pages of the Graduate School and the school's mailing-list are organised by Jouni Keskinen. The Graduate School is funded by the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Finland.
