Opetan omaan tutkimukseeni perustuvia luentokursseja, ja pidän syventävien opintojen seminaarit. Ohjaan väitöskirjoja ja pro gradu -tutkielmia.

I teach lecture courses based on my own research and MA seminars, and I supervise doctoral dissertations and MA theses.

Kertomuksen teoria, kirjallisuuden suhde filosofiaan ja historiaan, hermeneutiikka, subjektin, identiteetin ja kokemuksen tutkimus, kirjallisuuden eettiset ja yhteiskuntakriittiset ulottuvuudet, kulttuurinen muisti ja tarinankerronnan etiikka, ranskalainen, saksalainen ja englanninkielinen 1900- ja 2000-luvun romaanikirjallisuus

Narrative studies; interconnections of literature, philosophy and history; hermeneutics; subjectivity, identity and experientiality; the ethical and social-critical dimensions of literature; cultural memory and the ethics of storytelling; French, German and English-language 20^th and 21^st century narrative fiction
