The School of Medicine at the University of Tampere is one of the most attractive learning environments in Finland in the field of medicine. The School develops its degree programmes with an open mind and in cooperation with medical students.
The School’s basic degree programme leads to its Licentiate Degree in Medicine. Clinical studies are primarily pursued at the Tampere University Hospital, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the School of Medicine.
The School of Medicine is also an internationally competitive research community. In postgraduate academic education and continuing professional education, students earn doctorates in medical science, philosophy and the health sciences as well as graduate as medical specialists and dental specialists.
