The Finnish Doctoral Education Network in Stochastics and Statistics (FDNSS)
The objective of the network is to foster national cooperation in doctoral education and research in the fields of probability and statistics. The network offers Finnish universities and research institutes a framework of national collaboration by organizing joint seminars, courses, summer schools, and events intended to bringing together researchers and students in probability and statistics, and by promoting networking and peer support among students across organizational boundaries.

Doctoral Programme in Information Studies and Interactive Media

NORSLIS - Nordic Research School in Information Studies 
The objective of NORSLIS is to offer doctoral education in Library and Information Science (LIS) and neighbouring disciplines such as for example Archival Science. NORSLIS comprises a network of 14 Nordic and Baltic institutions all having a PhD-program in LIS or in a neighbouring discipline.  NORSLIS organizes doctoral courses, seminars and workshops.

Gamework is a Nordic research initiative that focuses on research on game development cultures funded by the NOS-HS (The Joint Committee for Nordic Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences).

The Finnish doctoral program in business studies KATAJA
The central function of KATAJA is to support doctoral students in their efforts to attain a doctoral degree. Doctoral level education in business studies is offered at 12 universities in Finland. The cooperation between these is important because of the small size of business administration departments, the large number of subjects taught, the geographical dispersion of universites, and the effective use of resources. KATAJA also coordinates seven graduate schools of business studies across member universities.

Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics
The Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics (FDPE), launched in 1990, is a cooperative arrangement between the Finnish universities to promote doctoral education in economics in Finland and to improve the utilization of teaching resources. The objective of the FDPE is to bring all the doctoral level courses organized by member universities available to doctoral students in Finland.

Finnish Literary Research Society (KTS)
The Finnish Literary Research Society (founded in 1927) acts as a coordinating association for literary scholars in Finland. It advances the study of literature and promotes general interest in literary research by gathering together scholars, teachers, and students of literature. The Society coordinates an annual research seminar and publishes the journal Avain – Finnish Review of Literary Studies. The Finnish Literary Society is a member of FILLM (The International Federation for Modern Languages and Literatures).
