Tutoring

The essential goal of tutoring activities is to integrate new students into the university. With personal tutors, it is easier for new students to find their place in the university community. The tutors are students who are further along in their studies.

Tutoring new students

In addition to shedding light on study practices, tutoring groups involve getting to know students of the discipline in question, the relevant student association and, many times, the city itself and the recreational opportunities it provides. However, actual academic counselling and advice should primarily be sought from the staff of the degree programme and faculty.

It is the goal of the entire university community to ensure that the student tutoring helps new students orient themselves to the studies and provides them with the capabilities to get off to a smooth start. Successful tutoring ensures that new students are familiar with the practices related to studies as well as the essential sources of information and guidance.
