Degree Regulations

At the University of Tampere, you can complete

  1. undergraduate degrees, i.e. bachelor’s degrees
  2. graduate degrees, i.e. master’s degrees and licentiate degrees in medicine
  3. academic, artistic and vocation postgraduate degrees

A bachelor’s degree comprises 180 ECTS.

A master’s degree comprises 120 ECTS, with the exception of a master’s degree in psychology and a licentiate degree in medicine, which comprise 150 ECTS and 360 ECTS, respectively. The licentiate of medicine degree features a single tier.
