Important Dates and Graduation Ceremonies

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students can primarily graduate during teaching periods. Faculties and degree programmes may have their own deadlines regarding graduation. A detailed timetable must be drawn up with your thesis supervisor.

Licentiate and doctoral students can graduate once a month.

You will receive a notification on Student's Desktop when your degree certificate is ready.

A joint graduation ceremony for all faculties is arranged twice a year. The ceremony for spring 2017 graduates will be held on 9 June 2017. The ceremony is conducted in Finnish. As registration for the ceremony differs from faculty to faculty, please contact your own faculty for further information. Members of the immediate family are welcome to attend the ceremony.
