At the University of Tampere, internationalisation is as easy as can be. Almost 300 exchange locations are available around the world. Through the Erasmus programme, you can complete a work placement in a European country, and summer courses in China and India are available for application each year.

Any academic studies and work placements completed abroad will be recognised as part of your degree  (see section “Credit transfer in Tampere”).

The Centre for International Education will support your studies and training abroad with various grants. Read more about funding.

You can also go international by arranging a study or internship period abroad independently. Internationalisation is also possible on your home campus. Read more in the page Go international at your own university.
