International third-sector activities
You can add international content to your studies by engaging in volunteer work, for example. You can also supplement your elective studies with international tutoring or other activities in the Student Union’s international sector (Tamy), according to agreement. Read about the options listed in your faculty’s degree requirements.
Content suitable for each course and the methods of completing the courses must be agreed upon separately with your faculty’s head of study affairs. You can suggest work performed for the following: Tamy’s Advisory Board for Development Cooperation, international organisations operating at the University of Tampere, such as ESN, TIPSY, AIESEC, TAYK and JEF Finland (Finnish), ASAP refugee tutoring activities or other internationalising work for organisations, such as the Finnish Red Cross (Finnish, Swedish) or Refugee Hospitality Club (Finnish).
