Management

Centre on Migration, Transnationalism and Development (DeMi) is a network organization, consisting of a consortium of national and international institutions, individual scholars and their research projects. Selected national and international institutions, research project and individual researchers are invited to join the consortium.

The management structure is composed of a Research Coordinator (at the University of Tampere) and the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee consists of the representatives of Finnish universities and research institutions, as well as of selected international scholars. In addition, there will be Project Managers who implement the thematic research projects. The Research Coordinator and the Scientific Committee are responsible for both scientific development and technical coordination of the centre.
