A doctoral workshop on business ethics and corporate responsibility was arranged on June 16 2010, in Tampere, Finland following the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) Research Conference 2010.
The main objective of the workshop was to provide doctoral students working in the area of business ethics, corporate responsibility (CR) or related subjects feedback on their doctoral thesis projects. The idea was to help the students to proceed with their work and to enhance the quality of their theses.
The workshop was successful as expected. The day was opened by Dr. Marjo Siltaoja’s presentation “How to successfully manage your process of despair and hope - Writing an article based dissertation”. After that 10 doctoral students presented their work and research proposals in parallel sessions, and altogether 9 Finnish and international professors participated to the workshop as commentators.
The workshop was followed by a Sauna Evening for the workshop and the conference participants, and it was a great way to end such an excellent workshop!
