CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

EuroHaptics is a major international conference and the primary European meeting for researchers in the field of human haptic sensing and touch enabled computer applications. This diverse field covers research in areas including, but not limited to, haptic perception, haptic hardware, haptic rendering and haptic applications, such as surgical simulation, rehabilitation robotics, and haptic feedback for design and applied arts applications.

EuroHaptics 2012 will provide researchers from academia and industry with an opportunity to present ideas, obtain feedback and establish contacts with other haptics researchers from around the world. Haptic hardware and software developers will also be provided with the opportunity to get familiar with the latest research, as well as to demonstrate their products to a wider audience, and discuss specific requirements first hand with existing and potential customers.

ACCOMMODATION
Please note that the hotels in the city of Tampere will be fully booked during the conference, as there are many big events in the city at the same time. Thus, please make your hotel bookings as early as possible!

Pay special attention to the deadlines for hotel quotas, as this varies between the hotels from April 13 to May 21. The conference hotel (recommended for easier access) has a quota of 80 rooms for 1-2 persons until April 20. The hotels cannot guarantee to have rooms available after the quota has expired.

CONFERENCE VENUE
EuroHaptics 2012 will take place in Tampere, Finland. The conference on June 13-15 will be hosted in a lakeside setting at the Scandic Rosendahl hotel, within 2 km from central Tampere.
