Cross-Institutional Studying in Tampere Region (SITR)

International exchange students of the University of Tampere can select studies also from the two other higher education institutions in Tampere Region:

• Tampere University of Technology
• Tampere Polytechnic - University of Applied Sciences

You should check beforehand that studies taken in these institutions will be approved by your home institution. Please note that SITR studies will not be included in your University of Tampere transcript, but you will get a separate transcript from each instituion. The maximum amount of SITR studies is limited to 40 % of the exchange studies per semester.
