ATALPA sports fees

All members of the University of Tampere community are welcome to participate in the sports activities. In order to do sports in Atalpa you should pay the Atalpa sports fee for the academic year or term or one-visit fee.

Students can pay their Atalpa fee for the academic year (65 €) on the same giro form as for their student union and health services. The annual and  period memberships will be programmed into the student or staff cards, or alternatively in a blank card, available in Atalpa. If you have paid your sports fee by bank giro, your card will automatically work in the card reader. Everyone else can activate their card at the reception.

The card has to be shown to the reader each time you visit the sports facilities.

Prices include: 

• gym 1 and 2
• aerobics classes
• courses (some courses have an additional payment)
• ball games (futsal, ultimate frisbee, basketball, volleyball, floorball)
• right to participate to ball games series
• discount prices to badminton
• shower
  
  The University has no insurance cover for those participating in sports. If necessary, please provide your own accident insurance cover. 

Badminton

• New shuttlecock 3 €

Badminton courts can be reserved from Atalpa reception, tel. 040 673 3880. Turns last for one hour.

Courses

There are separate fees for the sports courses. After the enrolment period has expired, those accepted will be notified by e-mail about the details of making the payment. Payment must be made immediately or by given due date. For further information see Courses. 

Washer

Atalpa has washer and tumble dryer for common use on workdays at klo 8-21 and on Saturdays at 10-15.  Prices 2 euroa/washing and 1 euro/tumble dryer. Reservations and payments to the Atalpa reception tel. 040 673 3880. 

Lockers

Lockers in 00. floor. Rent 20€/small locker, 30€/big locker. Further information from reception.
