Erasmus Grants for Work Placements in Europe

Student Exchanges

Time of the exchange period is autumn 2012 or spring 2013 or the whole academic year 2012-2013 depending on the programme.

Application period I: 17 Oct - 7 Nov 2011

1. Universities through International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) in the United States, Canada, Republic of Korea, Japan, South Africa, Latin American countries
2. Universities through CREPUQ exchange programme in Quebec
3. Universities through bilateral exchange agreements in the United States, Canada and Latin American countries

Application period II: 16 Jan - 6 Feb 2012

1. Universities through Erasmus programme in the EU and EEA countries and Turkey
2. Universities through bilateral exchange agreements in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia

Application period: 16 April - 3 May 2012 and in September 2012

Additional round for exchange places if remaining due to cancellations etc. in certain

1. Universities through Erasmus student exchange programme in the EU and EEA countries, Croatia, Switzerland and Turkey
2. Universities through bilateral exchange agreements

Erasmus Grants for Work Placements in Europe

The work placement may take place in one of the following countries participating in the Erasmus programme:

1. EU member states: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Rumania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
2. EEA/EFTA states: Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein as well as
3. Croatia, Switzerland and Turkey.

Application period  I: 17 Oct -7 Nov 2011

During the first application period you may apply for a grant for a placement that takes place during the spring or summer 2012.

Second round: 16 Jan - 6 Feb  2012

During the second round you may still apply for a grant for a placement that takes place during the spring or summer 2012.

Application period II: 16 April - 3 May 2012

During the second application period you may apply for a grant for a placement that begins during the autumn semester 2012.
