Where to Go?

On this page we have listed the international study and work placement opportunities provided by UTA for its students. These opportunities are open to UTA degree students at Bachelor or Master level and most of them also for Doctoral students. Students can apply to study abroad only for a period for which they have the right to study at the University of Tampere.

Student exchange

UTA offers great possibilities for a student exchange. The six faculties of UTA have altogether more than 200 European partner universities for a field-specific student exchange. In addition, bilateral agreements on student exchange, which are open for students of all fields, have been signed with almost 60 foreign universities located in different parts of the world.

UTA participates in several exchange programmes. The Erasmus, Nordplus and FIRST exchanges are field-specific. The other programmes are open for students of any fields.
