UNIVERSITY OF TAMPERE FOUNDATION GRANTS

The University of Tampere Foundation has declared the research grants from the following donor funds open for application. The application deadline is 9th October 2017.

1. GRANTS FROM THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FUND

The fund awards grants to the maximum total amount of EUR 15,000 for research in the field of vocational education.

2. GRANT(S) FROM THE KALLE KAIHARI HEART RESEARCH FUND

The fund awards one or more grants to the maximum total amount of EUR 5,000 for current research in heart disease at the University of Tampere.

3. THE FUND FOR MUNICIPAL STUDIES

The fund awards grants to the maximum amount of EUR 5,000 to students who have been successful in their studies towards Master´s degrees in local governance or to postgraduate students who have shown talent in the field when studying towards their Licentiate´s or doctoral degrees.

4. THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FUND

The fund awards grants to the maximum total amount of EUR 2,000 for research in business administration at the University of Tampere.

5. THE PERTTI JÄRVINEN INFORMATION SYSTEMS FUND

Emeritus Professor Pertti Järvinen Information Systems Fund awards scholarships, to the maximum amount of EUR 1,000, for postgraduate studies and/or research in information systems science at the University of Tampere. The scholarships can be granted, for example, for conducting empirical field work or participation in a scientific conference in the field.

6. THE TEEMU TUOMINEN INTERNATIONAL CRISIS MANAGEMENT FUND

The fund awards one grant of EUR 800 to an undergraduate student in political science for a field trip abroad or for an international conference.

7. THE ANU KIRRA FUND

The fund grants EUR 15,000 to the students of the University of Tampere who are incurably ill or disabled. First priority will be given to talented students who suffer from arthritis and have limited means of support. Please give the sum and the purpose of the grant in your application as well as the grounds for applying for this particular grant.

The free-format applications must be sent to the office of the University of Tampere Foundation, Kalevantie 4 (the Main Building of the University), room B107 by 9th October 2017 at the latest.
