Science Day on the Kauppi campus

Multidisciplinary science day, open for all. B building, Medisiinarinkatu 3, Tampere.

The Tampere Research Training Program for Medical Students (TRPMS) organizes the 2nd multidisciplinary Science Day of the Kauppi Campus in English. The day is open for everyone.

During the day basic degree and postgraduate students present their research projects and theses.

The day also features a panel discussion in English on the topic of research funding and the exploitation of research results. The panelists are professor Pertti Haapala who is the I Vice Rector of the University of Tampere, Emeritus professor Pertti Törmälä who is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Scientific Adviser at Bioretec Ltd, and Doctor of Technology Tero Välimaa who is the Director of BioneXt Tampere. Chairman of the discussion is the Director of the Research Training Program, professor Seppo Parkkila. The panel discussion will be held in the B-building's big auditorium at 13.30-14.30.
