1.12. UNIPOLI Independence Day Reception at TUT

Welcome to Independence Day Reception of UNIPOLI network! This reception is organized to celebrate Finland's Independence Day (Finland was declared independent on 6th of December 1917). All international students and staff members of TUT, UTA and TAMK are warmly welcome to Great Hall of Festia building (Festian iso sali, Korkeakoulunkatu 8) at Tampere University of Technology on Thursday December 1st. The programme starts at 18:00.

In Finland the Independence Day is celebrated in a respectful and solemn manner. During the reception, we will hear some views about Finland before and today, and how is Finland like from foreigner's point of view. Cultural programme is also included. Afterwards we will enjoy some Finnish delicacies.
