20.11. Opening of Christmas Season in Tampere: Parade with Santa Claus!

On Sunday the 20th of November the official Opening of the Christmas Season takes place at the city centre of Tampere starting at 12 o'clock. The venues are Central Square and various shops and department stores at the city centre.

The programme will include various events. The programme at the Central Square will begin at 13 o'clock with litting the lights of the Christmas tree. Santa Claus is at the Central Square at 13.00–13.30 o'clock and at 14.30–15.00 o'clock, and he will also take part in the Happy Christmas Parade at about 14.00–14.30 o'clock.

The Happy Christmas Parade will begin at 14 o'clock from the Sori Square (Sorin aukio) and the parade will proceed through the city centre to the Central Square.

Come and enjoy the Christmas feeling at the city centre!
