An English Language Theatre Course in Tampere: "Let's Stage an English play!"

In this course, students form a group named "Shakespeare's Children" and prepare an English play together. Course starts by learning basic acting skills and goes on rehearsing the play. Performances will be in April.

Shakespeare's Children is a dynamic drama course that is open to amateurs since 2003. Many people from all over the world have been in the group. We have performed  nine plays: Lysistrata, David and Bath- Sheba, Death of Xiang Yu, Midas's Ears, Dona Rosita, Peace, The Doctor in Spite of Himself, Hamlet- The Prince of Denmark and last spring Caesar and Cleopatra.

The instructor/director is a Turkey born professional theatre director. No age limit to join the group. Everyone interested in acting and theatre: Take a positive, playful mind with you and welcome to join in!

Course fee for the autumn term is 60 Euros. You can register the course in the first meeting.
