International Degree Student: Join the Mentoring Program 2012-2013!
WorkPlace Pirkanmaa launches the third international Mentoring Program in the universities in the Tampere region in Autumn 2012 - Spring 2013.

Mentoring is a process where the knowledge of a person with longer professional experience is transmitted to an international student who is about to enter working life. The aim of the program is to support the professional development of the student and give them the chance to discuss career issues with an already experienced person.
We are looking for mentees who are:
- International students about to graduate in a year or so
- Studying in a degree program in UTA, TAMK or TUT
- Interested in finding a job in Finland after graduation
- Ready to commit to the mentoring program from September 2012 until March 2013
- Keen to discuss career issues and working life
- Interested in intercultural communication
- Fluent in English
The mentors are all professionals in their own field of specialty and work in the Tampere region. The mentor and the mentee form a discussion pair that meet approximately five times. The program also includes 4 group meetings.
