Greetings from the Editor in Chief, Ms. Maria Virtanen (2005 - 2011)

Dear Readers,

Starting from the beginning of October 2011 I no longer work for the Studying in Tampere Region (SITR) University Network, www.studyintampere.fi.

I wish to thank everybody with and for whom I have worked from the very start of SITR in 2005 until today, both as the developer and manager of SITR and its services, and as the teacher in charge of the courses on Finnish language, society and culture.
 
Above all, I wish to thank especially the international students and staff from all around the world who made the 7 years of SITR an unforgettably great experience for me and my colleagues!
