Cross-Institutional Studying in Tampere (i.e. SITR studies)

SITR studies refer to studies for which

• The University of Tampere (UTA),
• Tampere University of Technology (TUT), and
• Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK)

grant cross-institutional study rights to their international students registered as exchange or degree students.

As an international student at UTA, TUT or TAMK you can select SITR studies when you have arrived in Finland and enrolled at your university in the Tampere Region. Please, note that you can select studies from the other SITR universities only if they are approved by your home institution. Check that your home institution approves each course you take during your exchange period.

You can find all the available SITR studies and instructions for using the electronic application system at the course catalogue page. Please, read the Student Instructions (pdf) carefully before applying for any course.

Please note that you cannot select here studies that are arranged by your own (Host) university in the Tampere Region.
Note also that you cannot participate in the course if you are not accepted for it.

You should apply for a transcript of records at each university at which you have taken studies in the Tampere Region. You will receive a separate transcript of records from each university at which you have completed studies.
