In the Working section you can find useful links to general information on working in Finland, advice on where to look for a job in Finland, hints for applying for a job, information on which authorities you need to contact, etc.
The EU funded project "WorkPlace Pirkanmaa" organises career events for international students, so follow also their website. The aim of the project is to strengthen contacts between employers, international students and higher education institutions. The idea is to develop new services for employers to make international recruitment in the reagion easier, and to offer international students better access to working life.
Finding work in Finland is unfortunately not very easy, and usually some Finnish language skills are required. Therefore, you
should not count on part-time work as your only source of student
financing. It cannot be guaranteed that you will be able to find a
part-time job during your studies, but do not let this discourage you from trying!
The institutions of higher education in the Tampere Region wish you the best of luck for jobhunting!!!
