third ESU is organised by University of Tampere, Entrepreneurship
education in collaboration with Em Lyon, France.
Entrepreneurship education in the University of Tampere
is a part of School of Economics and Business Administration
and Research and Education Centre Synergos. It is a
part of the faculty of Economics and Administration
at University of Tampere and located in Hämeenlinna.
University of Tampere is a national
coordinating university of entrepreneurship education
in Finland. Activities consist of scientific research
and teaching and of both national and international
research and developing projects. Entrepreneurship education
consists of research team and developing and coordination
team which are headed by Research Professor Paula Kyrö.
EntRe -research team focuses its research
on entrepreneurial actions and dynamics and on methodological
solutions. There are two study programmes on entrepreneurship
education. Study programme I introduces the students
to the development of entrepreneurship, its special
characters and values. It also familiarizes the students
with entrepreneurial pedagogy. Study programme II provides
the advanced study level of international research on
entrepreneurship education, familiarize the students
in scientific discussion in entrepreneurship education
field and provides students with means to conduct research
in the field. The focus is on conceptualising entrepreneurship
education, the dynamics of growing into entrepreneurship
and methodology of their research.
Virtual learning environment EntreNet
(www.entrenet.fi) is used in all studies. Entrepreneurship
education has also scientific collection which can be
used by students and researchers.
Entrepreneurship education publications
consist of virtual and printed publications. More information
