7th Sound Economic History Workshop

Tampere, Finland, May 19-20, 2012

7th Sound Economic History Workshop is organised in cooperation with The Finnish Centre of Excellence in Historical Research, The Finnish Doctoral Programme of History and University of Tampere.

Keynote speaker: Bernard Harris, University of Southampton.

The main aim of the workshop is to gather new researchers in a friendly and non-imposing environment where they can present their research and receive constructive criticism from their peers and leading economic historians. Another aim of the workshop is to demonstrate the breadth of Economic History as an academic discipline, so there is no theme to the workshop, and submissions are encouraged from any sub-field of economic and social history. The workshop is open for presentations by PhD students and post-docs. Non-presenters are also encouraged to participate. For more information on the past workshops, see www.keynes.dk/sehw/.
