My research focuses on gendered and sexualized practices and cultural meanings in society. Particularly, I’m interested of the production of gendered, sexualized and bodily differences and distinctions in work. I have used mainly qualitative data and conducted ethnographic research on service work both in public and private sector. I have supervised a number of PhD theses. Furthermore, I have been a pre-examiner and an opponent of PhD theses in other universities. In addition, my research focuses on interdisciplinarity and academic communities in Gender Studies.
In 2014 my teaching consists of supervising PhD theses. I’m member of the board of the national Gender Studies PhD program.
