Postdoctoral Researcher (Academy of Finland)
I defended my doctoral thesis on depression among women suffering from occupational burnout in 2013. My ongoing postdoctoral research concerns depression-related work disability among young adults. As a social scientist, I am specialized in theoretically motivated qualitative research focusing on the subjects of (mental) health and illness, work-related distress, social suffering, social inequalities, gender, agency, power and resistance. The research projects are located in the fields of gender studies, work research and sociology of mental health.
