Certificates

A specific application form is used to apply for the certificate of a Licentiate's or a Doctoral degree. It can be obtained from the School Office (where it is also returned) and online.

The application for the degree certificate must be submitted to the office of the School at the same time as the manuscript of the dissertation or the licentiate’s thesis is handed in for examination.

When applying for the certificate, the study register must include records of the completed studies and an overall grade concerning the studies (60 ECTS credits), which are included in Licentiate’s and Doctor’s degree. The markings are registered by the people mentioned below. Please see below contact information for the markings. An accepted study plan must be presented as well.

The certificate for the Licentiate's degree states the major subject, the grade of the Licentiate's thesis, the doctoral programme and a brief account of studies taken for the degree.

The certificate for the Doctoral degree states the title of the dissertation, the grade of the dissertation, the doctoral programme and the discipline of the dissertation.
