The postgraduate matters considered by the Board are prepared by the Postgraduate Committee, which also acts as a board for the doctoral programmes.

The postgraduate matters considered by the Board of the School are prepared by the Postgraduate Committee, which also acts as a board for the doctoral programmes.

The members of the Postgraduate Committee are the Dean of the School, the professors in charge of the disciplines or the groups of disciplines, the representative professor in the Research Council  and in addition to that, professors from all the disciplines of the School so that every discipline has a representative at the Postgraduate Committee. There is also one representative for the postgraduate students.

The Postgraduate Committee prepares the matters concerning postgraduate studies for the Board of the School. These matters are presented by the Head of Educational Affairs.

The duties of the Postgraduate Committee are the following: 

• to consider the requirements of the doctoral programmes and to make a proposal for the acceptance of the requirements to the Board of the School
• to consider the general curricula and the requirements of the disciplines and to make a proposal for them to the Board of the School
• to consider the budget of the School concerning postgraduate matters
• to make a proposal for the postgraduate admissions
• to consider the matters concerning preliminary examination and grading of dissertations and to make proposals for them to the Board of the School
• to discuss other matters concerning postgraduate studies  

The Postgraduate Committee can also consider possible problems between the supervisor and the student.
