Research Collegium

Research Collegium  (formerly known as UTACAS) performs advanced research focused on society, improves the conditions for doing research, and promotes multidisciplinary and international interaction. The Research Collegium accomplishes its mission by annually awarding fixed-term fellowships for one or two years to a group of academics and scholars of the University of Tampere.

The director of the Research Collegium is the Director of the Institute for Advanced Social Research, Professor Risto Heiskala (risto.heiskala@uta.fi). Phone 040 741 7518 / (03) 3551 6995. Research Collegium locates in Pinni B building (Kanslerinrinne 1, 3rd floor) at the main campus of the university.
