Professor Lili-Anne Kihn’s presentation is based on the article “Threats to validity and reliability in mixed methods accounting research” by Eeva-Mari Ihantola and Lili-Anne Kihn, University of Tampere, School of Management (Qualitative Research in Accounting & Management, Vol. 8, Nr 1, 2011, pp. 39–58). The purpose of the presentation is to shed light on the threats to quality in mixed methods accounting research, wherein quantitative and qualitative approaches are combined in data collection, analysis and interpretation.

Professor Niina Nummela’s presentation “Mixed Methods in Business Research” is based on her research conducted at Turku School of Economics with Professor Leila Hurmerinta, also from Turku School of Economics; Department of Marketing.
