There are six location cases, which are divided into 2 groups. The first group is called the sisäiset paikallissijat or the inside location cases and contains the inessive, elative, and the illative. The second group is caled the ulkoiset paikallissijat or the outside location cases and is made up of the adessive, ablative, and allative.
