I am a historian, an early modernist, both in the sense that I am interested in the time period between 1450 and roughly 1800 and in the sense that I am interested in the "modern" and its readings by historians. I love social history of religion and religious history of society. I am enthusiastic about issues of gender and the history of witchcraft. Currently I work on Lutheran Confessionalism in Sweden.

I teach and give papers and talks on early modern history and the above subjects.
