Hello! I am currently employed by the University of Tampere, Department of Finnish Language and General Linguistics, as Lecturer in Phonetics. My duties include teaching Introductory Phonetics courses to students of Finnish and foreign languages, as well as more advanced courses for students of phonetics. Occasionally I also find time to conduct research in phonetics. I am especially interested in speech timing and various aspects of the production and perception of distinctive quantity in Finnish.
