Ilaria Pitti is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Örebro University and holds a visiting position at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on youth political participation, with an emphasis on unconventional forms of engagement, and on intergenerational relationship between young people and adults.
Aurélie Mary is a sociology researcher at PERLA (Tampere Centre for Childhood, Youth and Family Research), at the University of Tampere, Finland. She has specialized in the study of youth transitions to adulthood within a cross-country comparative context. Her current research aims at bridging the gap between research and practice within youth research by developing collaboration between youth researchers and youth workers. She became a member of the board of the ESA research network Youth and Generation in 2009, and was appointed for the position of network coordinator in 2013–2015.
